Vid dagens kvalt\u00e4vling f\u00f6r K1H juniorer gick Erik Holmer fr\u00e5n Nyk\u00f6pings forspaddlare till semifinal efter ett stabilt f\u00f6rsta\u00e5k. Han slutade p\u00e5 11:e plats och hade d\u00e4rmed rej\u00e4l marginal\u00a0 inom de topp 30 som gick vidare.<\/p>\n

F\u00f6rsta \u00e5ket f\u00f6r Erik var liksom f\u00f6r Isak s\u00e5 pass bra att de var s\u00e4kra att g\u00e5 vidare. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r kunde de anv\u00e4nda andra\u00e5ken till att pusha till max. Inte fulltr\u00e4ffar \u00e4n, men det \u00e4r p\u00e5 g\u00e5ng.<\/p>\n

Detta \u00e4r en ny och angen\u00e4m situation f\u00f6r svensk slalomelit. Nu arbetar vi p\u00e5 det sista steget – att k\u00f6ra f\u00f6r att vinna. Det \u00e4r ingen slump utan resultat av ett otroligt h\u00e5rt arbete av elitkommitt\u00e9n, och inte riktigt i medvind. Att vara v\u00e4rldsklass \u00e4r kul men det \u00e4r ju inte riktigt samma sak som som att komma till start. Elitm\u00e4ssiga krav \u00e4r inte alltid popul\u00e4rt. Men det betalar sig och nu \u00e4r det r\u00e4tt kul och kul p\u00e5 r\u00e4tt s\u00e4tt.<\/p>\n

Det h\u00e5rda arbetet med att skapa en bra organisation har haft en helt avg\u00f6rande betydelse f\u00f6r de framg\u00e5ngar som nu b\u00f6rjar visa sig. Tv\u00e5 av tv\u00e5 aktiva bekv\u00e4mt till semi \u00e4r inte illa.\u00a0D\u00e4rmed \u00e4r EM-laget ett av de b\u00e4ttre landslagen vi haft p\u00e5 l\u00e4nge, men svensk slalom har en l\u00e5ng och respektabel historik. Niklas Widmark var 8:a p\u00e5 JVM 1994, 1,7 % efter vinnaren och Lars Argelius medaljerade p\u00e5 v\u00e4rldens st\u00f6rsta juniort\u00e4vling 1989. Isak \u00d6hrstr\u00f6m har en finalplats p\u00e5 junior-VM och en finalplats p\u00e5 U23EM. Per Holmberg var 12:a p\u00e5 JVM 1994 och JEM 1995. Per Andersson var 12:a p\u00e5 senior-f\u00f6r-VM 1990 som junior. Vi f\u00e5r se om det bli fler till ”Hall of Fame” i helgen.<\/p>\n
